With about 428,000 inhabitants, Zürich is the largest city in Switzerland. It has six universities, among them Universität Zürich and ETH Zürich, with altogether more than 50,000 students. Local currency is Swiss Franc (CHF). Most hotels and many restaurants and shops accept credit cards and some even cash in Euro or US$. But this is not universally the case, so you may want to obtain some small amount of money in local currency.
